pedal acting up again

pedal acting up again
fuel pedal was acting up again today two different times started put in gear and nothing just idle stepped on it a few times and away we went. i did get the fpr shimed up now it at 75 psi and i lost my kitty this weekend. hopeing the pedal holds up tomarrow its snowing and i have alot of plowing to do.

Mine has been like this for several yrs. Most of the time it only does this when the outside temp is cold. When the truck is first started, all it does is idle. A few quick "pumps" to the fuel peddle while idling and she will come alive. After starting and the fuel peddle is responding, it has never given any problems till the next start up. And mine does not do it ever start.
I figure the peddle assembl needs to be replaced but have not purchased one yet.

Had the exact same problem and solved it by taking the the switches off the pedal and sprayed them with contact cleaner from Radio Shack then literly sat down for an 1 hour or more and kept working the switch, have not had the problem since
,,,,,,,,,,,, if you seach my threads you can find my pedal troubles over 1 year ago.......
BTW a new pedal assyembly was 770 dollars at the dealer...
