Great to be back home, and thanks in advance for all the great information from many great minds here. I have a 94 Limited 4x4 explorer that needs bushings repalced. I would like to tackle it myself and am very capable. Just wondering if anyone can give me a link to a good manual, or any advice. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Have been meaning to get back to you but got real busy.
2 main ways of doing this job:
remove the nuts and washers off the radius arms, connect an axle strap to the front axles and to a come along, pull the whole front steering/diff assembly forward until the R/A are free of the cross member, replace the worn bushing and reverse the pull.
grind the heads off the rivets securing the cross member to the frame rails, punch out the rivets. Remove the R/A nuts and bushing, pull back the cross member and re/re the front half of the R/A bushing. Re-install cross member using grade 8 bolts/nylock nuts.
