Bob - any good ideas as to where a guy can find a decent line flaring and bending kit? What about fittings supplier?
Sorry - don't mean to hijack.
I buy the pre-made lines at the local auto parts store and use couplers to join them. A purest probably would like the appearance of one piece lines. I would suggest any good auto parts store as a good source for a double flaring kit and bender. Other places would be like on-line sources like Eastwood.
I bend my lines by hand, the trick is to do it very slowly, don't rush.
hmmmmmm, nut first, THEN flare???? been there, done that!!! it's really simple, but suggest you test flare once or twice before getting serious. if you want really smooth bends, use the tool and go slow.
