With only 11 Volts I'd try a different battery, could be that one has a dead cell. If it's good I'd go back to looking at connections and grounds. Failing that pull the starter and have it tested, new doesn't always mean good. I went to Kragens years back for an alternator. Counter guy pulled it out and started to ring me up and I idly tried to spin the alternator. Couldn't, it was dead frozen.
Don't worry about your alternator at this point though, its not part of the starting system and doesn't do anything until the engine is started.

Also, it's been my experience that the slow initial turn then speeding up 'till it starts is usually a bad starter.

Well, do this with caution*, put a jumper cable on the positive side of your battery and then touch the other end to the positive stud on the starter. If it turns over like it should then that will eliminate the starter, the battery, and the grounds as the culprit and will leave only the wiring and the relay.

*Watch for sparks, moving parts, and truck in neutral if it's manual.

I would guess either the ignition switch is sticking internally, the starter relay is sticking, or there's something not wired correctly and it's back-feeding current to the relay or ignition.

Low voltage is known to make the solenoid click.

OK,
So I came here from the other thread you just hijacked.

If you're only getting 11V from the alternator what would make you think it was the battery or starter that was at fault?
If I were you I would look to changing the alternator pigtail.
These are known to go bad, and then kill an alternator in short order.

There have been many issues with "new" solenoids being bad from -that place- where you got yours as well.

BTW, pulling the cable is not too good an idea, but at least you know you're not charging.

alt is new tested good at napa and autozone... off the truck. on the truck i get nothing knew the batt was not in good shape becouse it would not hold a charge for more then 5 mins and drop from 12vs to 11v and keep goin down off the truck i knew pullin the cable was not to good of a idea but i have gone thu everything else.. checked "F" on volt reg. it was fine. + its been in my bros truck got 14.67v out of his alt with my volt reg. on his truck for the starter i have had to many of there starters go bad that i just get them to replace it anymore if i even think it might be at fault.
