I get mine from Walmart, the automotive accessory aisle. Ever since I discovered it, I've gone back thru all my electrical connections under the hood and sealed all my connections. Its rubbery and flexable and easy to cut and peal away if needed.

Do you know the brand name ?

Does it come in a squeeze tube or bottle with a brush. knowing will make it easier to find.

Liquid Tape – Electrical Tape, Electrical Insulation, Liquid Electrical Tape – Plasti Dip International

It a brush on. I get the one in the middle, the Walmart around here also has the spray. If you guys figure out what the spray can be used for I'd like to know. LOL!

Gonna have to do that to both ends of my F5 I just ordered for my F250, and then go back and do the F5 already installed on my Ex.

Thanks for the info!

Permatex silicone RTV works good. I had the same problem with mine and got the same solution here. A little Permatex on the connector after connected and it should stay just fine. Seems like it should have some sort of snap to hold it in place? Not the first time I've seen this problem. Still love my DP though!

Exactly, especially knowing what happens to your truck when it does come disconnect.

Thank you for your reply to my question, and tring to help.
If it is not snug then I need to send you a new one. Mine has been in my truck for a year. In & out multiple times and the cable has never come loose on me driving down the road.

I can send you out another cable to see if it fits tighter.
