Thanks for trying all those attempts at fixing the StoneCrusher noise.
We don't have any more ideas than you have already tried. I would like you
to give me a call so that I can put you in my StoneCrusher data base so that
if I hear of a fix that works or if the warranty coverage is changed I can
contact you.
Thanks!
Hey Jeff, did you say that the fake "beadlock" rim part looks pressed-on on your wheels? I'm looking at mine and it all looks like one casting. So far mine haven't made any noises, but I'm kinda worried now. I have the 16" wheels, maybe the 16.5" are a bit different?
Well, hope you get your situation resolved.
Well, its so nice for Weld to have replyed to your emails. I have emailed them twice concerning the noise my 16.5x14 Sidewinders make and I have received no reply.
I got a call from Brandon (WeldRacing) today,he thanked me for posting his e-mail & phone # on the forums!!
I first thought he was being sarcastic, thinking he was pissed off!! But he said with the response he has received from the forum post, he now has the power to correct the problem, they are redesigning the wheel!!! All stonecrushers bought after March 1st will be the new design(non creaking). He told me to go back to 4wheelParts after March 1st and they will replace mine with the new design for free!! Sounds to good to be true…uh!
I am not sure he will do this for everyone.
Thanks again Brandon
Glad we could make a difference!
Jeff
