I could always use this.............its only 2000 shaft hp, but it do pretty good I think. And that is me in the pic, if your wondering. This is what i do everyday for a living is build these engines.
lmao The side your looking at is the accesory drive gearbox, fuel control, lube pump, fuel pump and all the lines for thoses. Thats the big bundle of crap right in fron of me.
Why are you so sure of that? I mean ive heard from him stating that his stroker kits are only good for very low rpm and not for hp.... so i asume they are weak..
Let me get this straight! You want a heavy truck with lots of frontal area, the aerodynamic coefficient of a brick, with HEAVY, large tires to be able to outrun a 2500 pound, short and small frontal area car with a good aerodynamic coefficient and light tires powered by a souped up four cylinder. Is this correct?
If this is correct, a 400 is not going to get the job done. I think you need to be looking for an engine made by Pratt & Whitney.
What are the specs on your 400 that is running 14sec 1/4 mile? I just got my built 400 running and I'm planning on taking mine to open track night at the local strip when spring time comes. I'm hoping to run 14's.
I am about to dyno my dream 400 which is a Tim Meyer stroked 434. CHI2V heads, custom hyd. roller cam, 4-bolt main caps, Weiand intake, Holley 770 carb, and a few other things I can't think of off the top of my head. Oh...10.3:1 CR. As soon as I am done I will post the results and you can see what it does.
My 408 does ok against the body kit ricer guys, its fun to beat them from a stoplight with the gal. She wouldn't stand a chance against a built ricer, but 8/10ths of them are driven by kids that dont know the difference between a cam shaft and a crank shaft.

ye of little faith i would like see to see them little hamster powered go carts compete with mine (once it gets put back together that is lol, damn racing bug is forcing me to upgrade safety features and suspension, as well as a tranny upgrade from a wore out 4 spd to a built to the hilt c6 , rol cage is getting done next week) but the one thing they do have up on me is that they don't have to run on 110octane .
