thats whats wrong with todays rebuilders,they buy the cheaper parts and thats why they don't last long,starterwise or life of the business,BGBRY's starter sounded like it was field coils or bushings so bad the armature was hitting pole shoes, my guess would of been the fields,but to tell someone to just change brushes and not replacing bushings if the brushes were bad isn't good, the ground brushes are seperate and the field brushes aren't,they need to be soldered good with a gun or hotshot,anyway don't condemn us all for some that don't stand behind their product

I'm still going the remain route, if I tried to do the work myself something else would be broken, missing, rusted, and I would be chasing another bad idea.

Going with lifetime replacement is a better idea for me.

49 is alot less then the 125 or so I shelled out for my POS noisy reman alternator for my Ranger...it got appropriately shoved to the appropriate place sideways...I was one peeved pup....and I had to swap the friggin pulley to boot...
