Thanks!!!

This board is GREAT!!! I posted the "Am I on the right track" and got a tremendous amount of help and RupeJosh sent me the wiring diagrams. You guys gave me the confidence to dig into my 91 and figure out what was going wrong. I put a new trans in it but it wouldn't shift right. After looking I realized it was a wiring problem. Got that fixed today and WOW!!! I think the PCM and trans controller are in shock cause they are getting clean power now. Thanks again for all the support.

One more question. I set the FIPL sensor to 1.2 at idle and it's at 4.32 WOT. Are those good settings? I know where it needs to be at idle but couldn't remember the high end. it almost seems like the truck is trying to relearn itself. I drove it very few miles because I have one last thing to do before I go any distance and that involves sliding the tranny back and replacing a alignment dowel. I drove it a few blocks a couple times just to get it warm enough and to get the FIPL sensor set. It just seemed to get better and better! Hopefully the dowel will go smoothly and I'll be able to take her out on the road tomorrow. Thanks again everybody - especially you Dave S. You've helped me a lot since I've been a member here.

There is a lot I don't know.

As for what I do know, I just broke more stuff than most people do.

I don't know why either.
Don't everyone haul 5 tons on an F 250?

This is by far the best forum I've found anywhere even the other fte forums.
Great info and attitude.

I second that!

The Cummins sites I've been on were OK. They were A LOT better when there weren't as many Cummins-Dodge owners and dilluted the gene pool. LOL!
The International site wasn't organized as well and there's not enough traffic in the areas I'm interested in to keep a thread going very well.
The FTE '94.5-'97 PowerStroke site wasn't too bad.
The FTE SuperDuty site? Well let's just say I hope I don't ever NEED to go there. Too many uninformed chest pounders and wanna bes. Which is a shame because there are definitely some guys on there who know their stuff about these trucks.

This FTE IDI site and the GUYS ON IT are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
