I'll be very interested in seeing what it cost you, plus the time it takes you to complete it.
I, for one, must have a touch of OCD, because I already know I would take WAY too long making sure the connections are good, sealed, watertight, etc, and have too many other necessary projects around the home (as added to my honeydew list by my fiancee) to spend that much time on it.

I just checked the voltage at my headlight bulbs. With the engine off there is 11.62 volts.
I am still putting the relay mod on my to do list, but probably won't do it right now.
Does anyone know where I can get a Ford headlight connector? The tab on mine broke.

OK... here's the cost break down for my install:
2 relays -------------11.78
3 rolls of wire 25' each 17.97
1 packs shrink tube-----3.99
12 connectors for relay--2.99
Fuse and fuse holder----1.99
TOTAL____________38.72
I plan on installing new wire to the existing bulb plugs and if I can't get the connectors apart to solder the new thicker gauge wire too than I might have to buy new plugs at another 14.00 a pair. My guess is it'll take me about 4 hrs total... with necessary beer breaks as needed.
should add another couple o bucks for the wire loom but I already have it...
... and I might be one roll of wire short on my parts list above... not to sure ware I'm going to get switching power from to switch the relays
