good day every one i have a chance to buy a lund visor for my supercab and would like to know if any body has installed the same thing with factory cab lights? is there any clearance issues? with the center peice that goes on the roof? please advise and thanks for your help regurds joe
hey bud thank you for the info pic is great but i see i will have to trim the stainless mouldings i am going to install also again thank you regurds joe
#1.. the visor slips between the moulding, the rust holes became an issue, either I am selling it or repairing it w/ the roof from another truck that I got, the trouble is that I had the truck for over 10 yrs and it is like letting your most reliable, best friend go!.... can't decide just yet??

#3 I kind of got out of the real high speed travelling, but cruising w/ traffic at 80 mph+ I don't seem to notice any rattle. I applied a silicone sealer beneath the visor prior to application and I also used barrel nuts to mount the visor, in lieu of the standard screws. I can tell you this...above 35 mph, you relly don't see snow flakes touch the w/s and very little rain gets there either...must be the bug deflector and all that 'structure' sticking out in front! I once saw the reflection of the truck on the side of a RV that I was passing and the bug shield was bent almost all the way back against the hood and the cb antennaes had a 'little' angle to them also.
Lostinfords, I'm assuming Fords, NJ judging by the NJ inspection sticker. I'm surprised I've never seen the truck around given I work in Woodbridge. Nice looking truck.
73f100shortbed, actually I am down near the shore, Seaside Heights area, the screen name comes from having too many fords, something like 9 or so, I try not to keep an accurate count to prevent a 'Freudian' slip and my wife find out, I have them at different locations!! The really good pic is when I re-did the s/c, now there is some rust poking through, I am debating whether to sell her or not, I have the metal to fix it, just no time, I am concentrating on the '77 crew cab and the '78 Bronco. This site gives me some enthusiasism to finish them but it also makes me want to keep 'ALL' that I have now and collect some more for the fleet. These guys have some really sweet rides and projects going!
here are other pics of my trucks w/ visors
