I've got a burned out bulb on one of my '07 Expy fog lights. Getting under the truck does seem to yield any obvious way to get at the bulb out from the front or back of the fog light. Are the factory fog lights sealed where you have to replace the whole unit or can you access the bulb? Any tips to remove the bulb or whole unit? Thanks.
Replacing foglamp bulbs
1. From underneath the vehicle,
rotate the harness/bulb assembly
counterclockwise, to remove from
the fog lamp assembly.
2. Carefully disconnect the bulb
from the harness assembly via the
two snap clips.
Install the new bulb in reverse
order.
Changed the fog light bulbs on my 08 last month. They were hard to break loose, but I got them turned and it was easy to pop the new bulb in and replace the assembly.
Replaced the stock bulb with the Sylvania Silverstar and they are much brighter.
good luck
