A few weeks ago, I noticed that both of the stock fog lights were out. The glass of the bulb (lamp) itself was broken. My son had gone through some flooded areas, and I figured the light assy's might have been soaked.

Replaced the lamps. Advance Auto had the same lamps that were original equipment .... Sylvania #9145.

Now, we notice that both lamps are out (glass broken) again.

Any problems with these fog light assy's? Any ideas?

Hey, I like the karkraft site - nice deal on the OEM fogs. Does anyone know what wiring loom would be required to hook up the fogs (they don't come with wiring or switch)?

dont let your fingers come in contact with the bulbs when you install them (any bulbs). the oil form your hands gets on the bulb then it gets heated up, expands and causes the bulb to explode...this will happen with any holegen bulb.

 

Are the len's showing any signs of moisture on the inside? We usually find broken bulb glass due to contact with water.
