ya i would undo the butt connectors or whatever was used to (hack) the wiring up and cut the wires back an inch or 2 and go from there probably only a 15-20 min job would solder and shrink tube the new connections or butt connectors and shrink tube

i tihnk it was hack with a rusty butter knife lol frist towaro i wiil check the nutts and make sure there tigh and them go from there hopingits just wires and not anything more sometimes i wishh i would burn down so i can coolect the insureinse money or get stolin lol

sounds like this may be the issue it was probably hacked by someone with a pocket knife and using a lighter to strip the wires.i would try to do the best permanent fix you can do thats within your budget cause it will pay off in the long run im figuring that out

sometimes these issues are like hookers.they just keep spreading haha i hope it hasnt got too bad

i i dint tell u i have no brake lights lol i just turn on the head lights i think it becuse i had a trailer break that the owner son rioed out the day befor i bought it

he was probably tapped into the tail light wiring and didnt fix the connections if you pull the tail lights ill bet youll find a mess either that or the fuse is blown from him dinkin around in there.im gonna be putting up wiring diagrams tonight for everyone to use if it gets hairy in there.

he spliced in to the brakes wires buy the switch peedle

i would say that that wire is messed up or he blew the fuse for the tail lights when he clipped it.

when you press the brake pedal you should hear a click well if its the same as mine.i think there is a pressure switch on the pedal arm and a relay for the tail lights as well ill try to track the relay down

there is a switch at the top of the peddle
