Yes, they were closed. I think the ignition system has given up the ghost, the truck was not wanting to start prior.

Brandon need to check your grounds. make sure your battery is grounded to frame and engine. One little trick is to use you jumper cables as a extra ground and if it improves all of a sudden something is up and follow through problem. Is your positive cable getting really hot in short amount of time. Could be bad connection. If ground getting hot in short amount of time investigate problem. might be bad ground or corroded ground. Need a meter to really help troubleshoot.
