6.9 big problem

6.9 big problem
Hey everyone my friend has a 85 f250 with a 6.9 4spd manual. His truck is randomly dying on him. All of the electricity cuts off no brake lights hazerds nothing. he can move some wires and everything comes back. The only thing i can think of would be a ground. Any ideas?

Only little problem.
Cheap fix.
Big problem takes lots of money to fix.
See the yellow wire in the circle.
Look at the grey connector and see if it is melted looking.
If so, cut it out cutting the wire as close to the connector as possible and splice it back together.
I used a copper split bolt to splice mine.
That is the main power to the cab, you loose everything when that connector melts.
OK, I know, big problem when your truck is dead and you can't figure out why.
