Rear Shackle Flip

Im taking my rear shackles and fliping them next weekend and doing an add a leaf to the front to match the lift i get in the rear. Will my drivelines still have any play in them after this 2 to 3 inch lift?

Unless there is something already wrong with them, a few inches shouldn't make a difference in the driveline.

What kind of play do you have in your drivelines now? If you have a worn out set of drivelines, you will have to replace them. Changing, or adding lift is not going to resolve this. Installing an AAL to the front is not a real great idea. Stock springs from this era do not ride so well, and creating greater resistance, or adding spring rate is gonna make a poor ride worse.
How do you intend to perform your compression shackle conversion?
Sounds technical huh?
