That was a major weakness in the Sherman tank. The gasoline always exploded and engulfed the tank in fire, killing the crew, when they were hit.

That is a Feb. 07 article, wonder where it is nearly 2 years later.
There was a guy working on one for a truck but he was over engineering it so much I doubt he will ever finish it.
Those ol motors are so freaking huge it makes a jaw dropping image statement, but you still don't have anything usable. IMHO

No, me. The system was slow to respond and I punch the "go" twice and had a double post so deleted the one and marked it as a double post.

I'm saying I never heard of a tunnel wedge. Those of us in the know always called them tunnel port engines.

I guess it was too much to hope for.

Tunnelport heads and intakes have round ports as you well know. The tunnelwedge was a later design sold as over the counter only. And made to fit the mediumriser head ports. If you look at the TP and TW side by side you can see the TW runners transition into the rectangle port match. Other than that they are very much the same. Same carb spacing as other LR, MR and TP 2x4's. Highriser was the only factory FE 2x4 intake with a wider carb spacing.
