Yes. There is a guy on the net54 forum who did this. He posted a bunch of pics and it's really nice! I'll see if I can find his info unless someone here has more.

If you have deep enough pockets and inginuity, you can put a sherman tank engine into a VW bug.

ya I understand that just curious if you think its sensible.....I guess my dads buddy has a 280z with a 6-71 428 so anythings possible. actaully alot of room under the hood of that thing. He also has a 62 galaxie drag car and a wall full of FE intakes (tunnel wedge, cross rams....really neat stuff) anyway, Im on a budget and my tools are limited. just lookin' for pointers

Just to add that link lists the tunnelwedge as a aftermarket intake which is not entirely true. Ford did sell this as a over the counter item as the C8AX-9424-A casting. Today Dove still casts these as aftermarket for both MR and HR applications. BTW checkout the rest of that Mustangtek site. The library section has most of the Ford performance catalogs and brochures scanned for your viewing pleasure.

Yep it does. Those would be some big one barrels. How about the old 3 barrels?? Remember those?

i believe the tunnel wedge is a kin to the atomic wedgie, a male counterpart to said moose-knuckle :-)
