Another tire size thread!
My Parents live in Lake Tahoe and have an '06 Mark LT. The factory Rugged Trail 275/65-18's are ready to be replaced now, and I was asked for replacement tire advice. My Dad would like to with a taller tire to fill the wheel well, and of course a better suited tire for the snow. I personally have a set of Nitto Terra Grappler's on my vehicle and are very happy with them.
Could you please advise me of the tallest tire you are running without a lift with the stock 18" wheels? Or do F150's not come with 18" wheels? Thanks in advance!
Tire choices are more limited on the 285/65 then they are on the 275/70. Just an FYI either of these sizes push you up into a LT type tire. So, if your folks want the nice smooth and comfortable ride they currently have. The LT's might not be the best choice.
I have Cooper Discoverer ATR in the 275/70-18 on my 07 Lariat. They fit perfect.
i just put BFG 305/65 18's on my Lariat but i have a 2" leveling kit. the tires now look like they fit the truck, unlike the stock 275's that just looked small. they fit very welli have no rubbing issues full lock either direction.
