air bags where to put the compressor

Just installed Firestone airbags on my extended cab. I got the compressor and in cab gauge left to hook up. Where is a good place to mount the comp? I can't find anywhere under the hood except in the drivers side basttery box and that don't seem like a good idea. The best I have so far is up above the spare tire but that doesn't seem like a great idea either. Sooo, I'm open for suggestions. Thanks

Are you using it to just air up the bags or run a tank and horns? If just for the bags, you can always put in in the cab behind the seat. I have two small ones, one for each bag behind the seat. For as often as they are run it works for me, no worries about outside elements.

My air bag comp is mounted right behind the air filter. Solenoid for right and left are attached to the comp. My Horn and tank comp is attached to the frame.
