Truck particulars in sig. I bought my truck as you see it in the pics with 315/75R16 (~35x12.50R16). From the pics can anyone tell if it is lifted or just has a leveling kit or is just stock and clears those tires. I am looking to go to an "E" rated 285 or 305 tire and was curious as to how it might look if any one has something similiar to my set up. It's a shame too because those Pro Comps are practically new. Thanks for any help!
Take a measurement from the top of your axle to the bottom of your frame rail, a 4" lift will be right at 12", you can determine from there up or down what you might have there.
WOW! Sorry about the delay, holidays and all. I measured my shackle and it is 5 inches from hole to hole and from what i have read that is stock. The distance from the bump stop and the top of the spring pack is between 4 and 5 inches. I have a spare on the passenger front right now, and the road kinda slopes to that side where i have it parked so I am getting a small difference in length between the two sides. It all "looks" stock to me, but I am looking to replace the shock with some Rancho's and want to make sure I do not need them for a lifted or leveled truck. I could not find any markings on the springs except "AMB" stamped on one of them. A friend said maybe it meant Ambulance? I figure that would be reserved for an E-350 or something. IT actualy has a sticker in the door jam that says it "does not have the Fird Ambulance prep package" so I think that solves that. Here are couple of pics from underneath:
As someone mentioned, take this measurement from the passenger side of the front axle under the truck:
-Top of the axle tube (next to the spring perch) to the bottom of the frame rail (by the bumpstop).
Post up that measurement and I can tell you approx. how much taller than stock your truck is.

The measurment is approx 9 7/8 inches. I would have never guessed they came stock with only 2 leafs!
