engine mifire
hi guys need a little help
with misfire on 2002 f250 5.4ltre when cold and running on cold start its ok when it comes of cold running the misfire starts, we know its on no 6 cyl compression ok changed plug and coil pack but its still there any ideas

Do you mean it runs fine on open loop and misses on closed?
The transition to closed loop I believe only means changing the injector cycling to run off the o2 sensors. I'd start by checking for air leaks in that side of the exhaust.

Hopefully you dont have a camshaft problem, its very common when using an aftermarket oil filter, usually you'll get a noise also. You happen to have any codes? P0356 may = wiring issue, if still have the P0306 I have seen plugs bad out of the box, sometimes you can see a carbon track on the plug if you take it back out, to rule that out swap with an easy cylinder (plug and COP) and see if it changes. May be a bad injector.
