NumberDummy??HELP!!??

Bill,
An earlier post asking about proportioning valve ID gives more info, got no response, but here are some numbers I hope you can crunch.
Valve/junction block: C8(or B)1A-28257-S (or 5)
3-way junction block:K/H027-8
What are these parts and are they for disc or drum?
Thanx,
Gene

ID number: C8TA-2B257-S / Ford part number: C8TZ-2B257-G .. Brake Differential Proportioning Valve

Fits: 1968/72 F250 2WD & F350 with disc brakes.

The junction block mounts on the rear axle housing-drivers side and was used on all 1968/72 F250 2WD's & F350's w/or w/o discs.

Bill,
I can't thank you enough for your reply, you are my hero. My apologies for taking so long to thank you, but I'm out on the road and this is my first shot at reasonable WiFi service. It appears that I have all of the right stuff to do my swap. Funny thing about that junction block, it was mounted on the front crossmember, under the engine and has an "F" at the 2 ports that go to the 2 front brake hoses/calipers and an M" at the port that came from the proportioning valve. Is it possible that early on in disc brakes, they simply used the same block front and rear? Also, the block has a little metal push button on it that appears to have at one time been covered by a rubber boot. Just a curiosity.
Thanks again,
Gene

There more than one junction block. The numbers you gave me I could do nothing with, so I just assumed it was this:

The brake system diagram (section 22, page 16) shows a 3 ported junction block on the axle housing, two steel lines in, one rubber brake hose out.

Your truck prolly has this as there's no mention of the types of brakes used with it.

Hovering in space above and to the left of the diagram (prolly added later) is this:

C8TZ2B161A .. Metering Valve / Fits: 1968/72: F250 2WD, F350 ~ Use with P/Discs.

I missed seeing this before as it's not shown exactly where it goes.
