Greetings, newbie here, I am looking for recommendations for a headliner for my 66 F100, where I could find reproductions or any ideas for a custom headliner?
Welcome aboard, the headliner is avaiable from several sponsor's on this site, its alittle pricey with shipping being the highest cost with most companies. I would try local salavage yards; even if alittle worn; you could either paint the pieces or do what I did was cover the liner with headline fabric liner material.
Hope this helps and again welcome....
OEM card headliners are expensive mostly due to the shipping cost (they must go truck). If DC or another supplier comes to a show in your area you may be able to pick it up on site and save yourself some bucks.
For myself, I am not a fan of them. Roddoors and I think NPD offer a plastic formed one that fits well and is almost impervious to warping and moisture/humidity. The liner itself isn't terribly expensive but the fabric Roddoors sells is WAY too expensive for what it is, in my opinion. Your local fabric store can give you something for far less.
