It will lag more on the bottom end, which can be fixed some with some tuneing, and you can get some more aggressive fueling with the lower temps...so kinda..
Im not really sure though, Brandon has one, Might wanna PM him.
This is your dads truck though, i wouldnt want to mod it too much and then have it blow up, and he blame you for it. Keep it how it is and save the money for when you actually get it.
I'm building one now. The van turbo has a slightly bigger exh wheel, and a 1.15 non-wastegated exh housing. Compressor side is just like the one you have now. It WILL lag, if you don't get larger injectors. I'm not getting my injectors until a little later, but I'll have Tony tweak my tuning a little to compensate as best as he can.
Kris makes a good point though. Lots of popped blocks lately... I hope I don't end up with the same avatar later........
This is a good thought to but this PMS is just so addicting its hard to stop. Lol.
I don't think he will get to pissed if I blow up the motor because then he gets a Cummins in it lol. So what about this regulated return fuel thing how would that benefit me?
Nick, you make me feel old bud. I'd say injectors, but i think these guys got you on the right path. Whatever happened to the surprise when you were doing o-rings...
