What Next?

Ok as you all know Christmas is coming up and so is my Birthday(12/21/92)
So I was thinking of combing my Christmas and Birthday into one big thing. So what should be next for the truck as far as power mods go? With in reason what would bring the biggest Tq and Hp gains. I am kinda lost in what my next direction should be,
Thanks
Nick

You can always go with a regulated fuel return system.

That won't get you any seat of the pants power.. If you want power, do some injector work.

If you have forged rods you should be fine with some injectors, but that means a turbo first... I was looking at some SS stage twos and those are about 1200-1500 IIRC.

Why would I have to do turbo first?

the sticks will flow more fuel and give you higher temps so your going to need a bigger turbo to clean it up and lower the temps. I guess you could get them and then have them detuned untill later. I think stage ones would work with a stock turbo and 1.0 exaust housing.

A 6.0 intercooler wouldnt be a bad option either, but that wont give you any seat of the pants power, it would be just so you can go bigger later on and lower your egts for the now.

Edit: Kris or someone else might be able to tell you what turbo and stick combos will work. A van turbo would be good up to 400 hp, I think Jeremy had some bcode hybrids with that turbo and he got 430hp right before it became an anchor..

You can get a 1.0 exaust housing but that wont be enough if you get anything bigger than stage 2s IIRC. stage ones are good for somthing like 40 hp. The Van turbo is bigger and you can get one cheap,( Joe jsut got one for 200) you already rebuild that one turbo so you shouldnt have a problem if you have to rebuild one. Its got a bigger intake and i think a 1.15 exaust housing, but it might be 1.0 Im not sure.

Ebay, they are around 700 new from a dealer last time I looked. Theres not too many on ebay though... Rons turbo service is a seller on ebay, you might want to give him a call and see what he has or if he can help you get one. A junk yard wouldnt be a bad place to look either.

So if I drop a Van turbo in will I feel a seat of the parts power increase?
