What do we do for New Years
Come to think of it, they didn't say what would be needed!
I'll put some in the car/truck/van. (No tellin' how many other Scouts I'll be 'volunteered' to take!)
Great idea, Dutch!
Synthetic fabric sleeping bags feel like silk, and are wonderful! Trust me on that. Pick out ones that feel silky inside and are designed for summer time...
If the A/C is working, you don't want too hot a bag.
To this day, I sleep in sleeping bags - because they feel so good and are easy to care for. 'Doesn't matter if I am home or not.
Another plus is that you can't throw the covers off in the middle of the night - DON'T BLAME ME IF YOU GET HOOKED ON THEM!!!
And two of the same kind can be zipped together to make a queen sized bag...
I shouldn't mention this - but if you have to go somewhere suddenly you are already used to them.
Shouldn't mention number two: A summer bag inside a summer bag is a winter bag.
One other tip: Pick a rack with a ventilator that blows into it. Fresh air is a good thing! It doesn't smell like someone else...
After 20 years, you think I don't have it down?
The breeze and whisper of the vent is also conducive to sound sleep.
