got a quick question
I have been gathering pieces to do the in tank mods on my truck and what they gave me at napa for a prepump filter is a 10 micron filter. So my question is will that provide enough filtering or do I need a smaller micron filter? Thank you......Kevin

That should work fine. It will filter better then what is in the tank now. The stock filter in the fuel bowl will stop anything smaller. Something like this would be good so you can tell if it starts to get dirty.

So does this mod really make the truck that much quieter? I just installed the WW and like to hear it....but the rest of the noise from the engine almost sounds like an exhaust leak but I know it's not.

From what I could tell on mine, no. If I didnt have to drop the tank to clean it I wouldnt have done the mod

Kevin, we had one made for my son's truck but don't think it was worth the hassle. It turned out only a few dollars cheaper than ordering one. I want one that I can trust which I did on the custom made one but the only way to test it was to run it.
