Are the '95 F-250 5.8/351 computers also MAF and OBD-I? Not trying to hijack the thread, just curious.

There are some yes, but I'd be hesitant to say all of them are.

Okay heres how the day went. Went to the Salvage yard and pulled the Taurus alt. and a Mark 8 fan. Then i went over to the F-150 and lookd at the door code. The tranny code was "U", my buddies is "T". So i figured id at least get the harness. I started tearing things appart to get to the harness and noticed a few random things had been clipped from the harness. So i left it, so as not to get an incomplete unit.

Heres what i was thinking also, could i really just get the absolutely necessary wiring off of a MAF F-150 or bronco then re-pin and get a new computer? Thats granted the ECM has the same harness plug in style as the non-MAF ones. This would prevent me from pulling 2 harnesses and installing the whole thing. I could just do what is absolutely necessary. I am very good with wiring so i am very confident i could handle this project. So in the end im just doing the junk yard version of the aftermarket MAF lay over kit.

Yes, that's the simplest way to go about it, remove the MAF and injector wiring as complete as you can(with computer connector pins if possible), and insert them into your existing harness. And just to clear up one of your concerns, ALL Ford EEC-4 computers use the exact same connector, and as you'll see on the ford fuel injection site the pins all have the same function on V8 vehicles with only a few exceptions. So that means a mustang 5.0 computer or MAF truck computer will plug right into your truck harness.
