DTC Code P2002

Hey all,
My 2008 6.4 recently threw a code (P2002) I searched a bit as to what is is and found out it relates to our "friend" the DPF. Does anyone know exactly what it means? Any help would be appreciated before I bring it to my dealer.
Thanks

P2002- Diesel Particulate filter efficiency below threshhold. Chances are you're using an aftermarket CAI. Basically it's saying that the truck is breathing better than the factory intended. I get the same code w/ my truck for about the 1st 350 miles after a regen, then it doesn't return untill after the next regen cycle.

Yes, You are correct, I am using the Banks dual CAI and airbox with a bullydog programmer. I have been using these products for quite a few miles with no codes. Do you think I should clear the code and move ahead?
Cant wait till warranty gone! Bye Bye DPF!

Absolutely. Clear the code & drive on. That's what I do.

I just got this same code on my truck. i have had the truck for about 3 weeks and have had the banks ram air kit installed for about 2,000 miles. i just went off roading through serious mud and water so i pulled out the air filter and it was pretty dirty. erased the code and cleaned the filter so hopefully it wont come back on any time soon. if i do the DPF delete kit with programmer will this issue completely go away? i understand that right now with just the CAI the light might come on every so often due to dirty air filter or even clean air filter with too much air flow. any input is appreciated. thanks.

JUst a quick word on DPF's. Just because the warranty is out on the truck does not mean you can remove it. In California and several other states now it is required emissions by the state and the ARB (CARB). If it is not on the vehicle when you take it in for a smog check, or a smoke test then you will be failed. Just a word of advice.
