Lift swap?
I have a 84 bronco with a 6" lift. I have blocks in the rear and coil springs in the front. I bought a 79 bronco and I want to see if I can swap the lift over to the 79. I think I can use the blocks and leaf springs in the rear but I am not sure about the front because my 84 has IFS and the 79 has a straight axel. Does the front require different brackets? I would like to avoid buying a lift kit. Any ideas?

The rear is okay, the front coils will not interchange. They are different. The best route to probably go is to buy the new 6" coils for the old Bronco and swap the front end out into the newer Bronco. Be sure to use the brackets and trailing arms from the old one though.
