How much lift from f250 rear leaf springs?

For all those who know I have 3" of lift at the rear, but 8" at the front.(79 6" lift springs, 89 coil buckets) And I want to remedy that. I can get F250 springs from the local junk yard way way cheaper than a shackle flip kit. I also bought 5" lift blocks for the rear.

How much lift will the f250 springs provide? How much will it stiffer will the ride be?

It would be kinda nice to do the f250 springs and 3" blocks so I don't have as much axle warp.

I am wanting to get to at least 6" on lift in the rear.

Thanks fellers!

Not much. The arch on the F250 springs are about the same as the F150 springs.

F250 springs would get you maybe 1" tops if that.

If you want 6" in the back, the cheapest way is to do a shackle flip.

I put F-250 HD springs in the rear of my truck and it gave me 3" of added lift.

Well dang. What about F350 springs? And how still is your ride with the F250HD springs?

The ride isn't that stiff IMO. it rides better than a short box.
Also I find the stock F-150 springs to be too soft.

What exact spring pack did you use? I want to do this exact same mod to my 95 f150 4x4. I have leveling coils now and feel that if i could get 3 inches of lift from f250 springs I could remove the factory block and my truck would sit perfectly IMO

Blocks are junk, do it right with the shackle flip and make it safe. F350 springs aren't really different in arch, just stiffer so the back won't sag as much if you want that. Maybe 1-2" max

My drivers side spring is very weak, can't even fill up the side tank without it leaning dramatically, So new springs are a must. Bronco graveyard list new stock f250 springs in different arches for use with or without the factory blocks. I feel for my use that if these springs will lift my truck 2 inches then I can remove the factory block and stiffen a very soft rear suspension at the same time. Any input on my idea would be very appreciated

If your springs are weak and sagging, the 250 springs may bring it up dramatically. With or without the block, the higher arch will lift the truck and stiffin up the rear end

That's what I want, just want to keep it fairly level, I have leveling coils now and it's bout 2 higher in the front. I feet that if f250 coils lift the back 3 inches by themselves and I removed the block, It would set exactly how I want it to. The only question is which f250 leaf pack should be used, The heavy duty f-250 pack or the light duty f-250?

Unless you have 2.5" springs and not 3". Thought some f150s came like that. I believe the 2/350 are 3" wide

Depends on what you pull them out of, 4x4 and 4x2 used different springs. My old (gone now) 91 F250 LD 4x4 (2" blocks factory) sat at the same height as my old (gone now) 93 F250 LD 4x2 (no blocks) and my 92 F250 HD 4x2 (no blocks) sits 2" higher than both of them did.
Yes the 92 sits like a cat in heat...

All measurements were taken at the rear wheel well directly above the center of the axle.

F150 4x4 springs are 3" wide, same as the F250.F150 4x2 springs are 2.5"

(excuse the decimal point being in the wrong place )
