I made my scoop out of the plenum (ductwork) I salvaged on a HVAC I was upgrading.
The rectangular to 6" round was a piece of 6" round duct originally.
The only store bought parts are the 6" x 4" reducer and the 4" adjustable elbow (which was also salvaged).
