I doubt that you'd get any big "rush" of air thru that duct. It has to get in thru that small wedge shaped opening up under the lip of the right fender.Then thru the pipe and thru the blower motor. Every bend in the system will slow air flow down. I wouldn't expect any massive flow of air.

Thanks, I'm pondering about ram air and I figured that wouldn't be that great. Say does anyone know what the oval holes were for in the panel behind the lights, seems like it might have been for an option of some sort.

I guess this is as much a question as a thought/suggestion. I was looking at the fresh air duct on the cowl and wondering if that could be used for a true ram air setup on my 53. Thoughts?

It may sound nice but wouold you want to have a tunnel go out of your cab back to the engine, that would turn down the pressure too much for me. I was also thinking about the holes on the front of the F-1's in the hood. To bad the radiator needs that air.
