OEM CD issues
Hi Guys,
Ive put an OEM AM/FM Single CD player(out of a 2001 F-150 XLT) in my 97 F-150 XL .Even found a Ford adapter cable to retrofit it from the original Casette unit....anyway,Im getting a "Bad Disk" code from it now.It originally did this,and a friend at work cleaned the CD head...it worked for about 2 days...now back to the code.
Ive got an OEM rear connector,speakers,pwer supply etc,and can remove it from the truck,and run it on the bench if necessary,just would like some suggestions on what I could do before I go to that extreme...any ideas?
