^^^^These pictures are of my Fordomatic tranny cooler lines. I ended up replacing them because the rear one was leaking because of a small pin hole in the line. The front one was also leaking because of a bad fitting. I am really proud of the S curved because I started at the bottom and worked up to the cooler. I had the last 90 deg. bend towards the cooler, I contemplated the bend for 15 min. or better. Finally figured where and which way to bend. I then bent it and it wasn't either to long or to short and it matched up with hole PERFECTLY!!

^^^^This is of the rear main seal. I was having a bad leak from the back of the oil pan. I took the pan off to investigate. I found that one of the seals on the rear main cap was about .06-.09" short of being flush with the bottom of the cap. So the oil would just bypass oil pan gasket by going through the gap between the side of the cap and the block. So I just used some high temp. silicone to fill the hole. And it hasn't leaked since.

^^^^A couple days ago I got a little more of my interior put together.

There is a question I want to ask anyone who reads this. I was originally thinking about spraying the inside of the box with linex. But a couple of people said the other day that being as nice as the truck is I should paint the inside of the box. So I am right now reconsidering the pros and cons of each, and contemplating on which one I want to do.

Painting:
Will cost many times more than linex.
Will take longer to get done.
Looks more original.
Less permanent.

Linex:
Costs less ($400).
Takes only 4 hrs to spray box.
Tougher/harder to scratch.
Hides any imperfections better.

What does everyone think?

It depends on what you plan to do with the truck. If you plan to use it, I would spray the liner on. If you plan to use it more as a show truck, the original paint would be more appropriate.

I kind of found a happy medium with mine. I painted it and put a rubber mat on the bed floor.

Well I took my truck to it's 1st show Sunday and won "Peoples Choice Truck" The show only had peoples choice car, truck, motorcycle, and tractor trophies.

As for the box I think I might have settled on painting it but I am going to have to save up for that.

WOW your truck has come a long way. Looking really good. I plan to use my trucks so when restored they will get linex box liner and painted to match the truck. I might paint the inside of box with an epoxy type of paint also. If I can get it to match the truck color. Im thinking it should be able to be mixed but we will see. That's a ways down the road for me.

Well the truck has had a really busy last week. Last week Wednesday I took it to a car club meeting which was held at a local drive in. Every Wed. they have old car show up for a small show. Last Wed. was Ford Night!!! Then last Saturday I took it to a local car show (Goodview Days). And won a trophy there. And then Sunday I took it to "Kornfest car show" in Holmen WI, about a 100 mile drive for me. I also won there as well. Here are a few pics from Kornfest.

So far I am 3 for 3!!
