I may try back to black, or NXT. This morning I used the Meguiars hot shine in the can. It went on like spray paint and didn't make a mess. The nozzle has 3 different settings for sidewall height. Its pretty good so far. I'll see how it does for a little while. If it doesn't last, I will try one of the others mentioned. Thanks for all the input.
Is this what you guys are talking about or is this too shiny for you? This is after scrubbing them with Westley's Bleche-Wite Tire Cleaner and giving them a coat of Armor All Extreme Tire Shine and rubbing it in and removing excess with a rag.
It doesn't attract dust for me... I haven't put any more on since September and they're still black. I've driven off-road too.
The stuff i linked on the first page also works good for wheel wells. Found that out this weekend. I didn't wipe it down after application, just let it soak in and drip off. Nice, dark wheel wells now!
I've tried all the products at one time or another, and while I like the Mequiar's, I really like the Stoner's More Shine Spray. It does not go on thick or sling off, and doesn't go all over the place. Leaves a nice coat that doesn't pick up a lot of dust either.
