I have a 2002 7.3 and am thinking about getting the dp tuner with the 60T, 80E and 140A settings. my truck has a 4" lift with 20" rims and 35" tires on it, is there anything i should do with the DP tuner with this setup...such as recalibrating the speedo?
thanks
Your truck will shift better if you have your speedo re-calibrated. The PCM will be getting the proper signal from the tranny, so in general it will be better off, you'll also be able to hand calculate your mileage precisely. The DP Tuner doesn't have anything to do with the calibration though. If you have an AE scanner, it can change your speedo, or a Tru-Speed from Superlift, or you can have it re-calibrated at a shop.....your choice
I have a truspeed on my truck and i like how it is adjustable... What kind of wheels and tires ya got?
I too like the TruSpeed. I like the toggle switch so you can have 2 settings saved. One is for my 37s on 20s and just this weekend I switched over to my winter tires and stock rims.
