53 drip rail

I noticed the other day my drip rail is missing the center piece. I believe it was there when I bought the truck. I must have knocked it off or loose and lost it when I was working on the rust above the wind shield. Is there somewhere to get this piece?

pappy i think the 55 parts truck i just got has it i'll go look and if it does { the stainless trim peice right ??? the connector ???????? } i'll let ya know .

Hey 55 f350 mine is painted not stainless. It is the connecter piece that I guess connects the drip rail together in the center. I am going to look around where I worked on the drip rail to see if I can find mine. But probably a needle in a hay stack. What color of green is on the trunk in your avatar?

it was painted like you say yours is and it is like the rest of it rusty and rough . so it's up to you . if ya want it i can drop it in an envelope with your address on it . if not no biggie as it is rough !!!! as far as color i have no idea . been meaning to have a buddy of mine at a paint shop see if it matches up to anything .

Sending this back up one more time. Anyone know where one can be found or how one can be made? Can the space be filled to make the rail one piece instead of having a small part that can be lost?
