That is a pic of a 95 grill. I was just curious if there's any other grill I could put on the front of the truck, maybe a Ford Ranger Sport. Just a newer looking grill?
The 93 and some 94"s 4x4 grill was pretty cool, it was also used on the splash. It was color keyed to the body like the sport. Check out the ranger section on ebay and look for a 93 4x4, you'll see what I mean or look for a splash, a lot of them had it as well.
Using catalog pictures as a guide, the 98-00 Ranger grille will not fit as a replacement for the 95-97 grille unless you can do some "cutting and pasting."
May as well fabricate one to fit inside the headlight shape while you're at it. & see if you can keep the function intact of protecting the radiator while allowing about the same amount of cool air through. Too much & you just create more drag without really helping engine stay cool. I'd just get an unpainted one as you like & paint it with plastic Krylon Fusion. A lot of guys make them out of billet, & or chrome or black mesh which almost always look cooler than any stock types.
O yeah, I forgot something key. I myself like the newer tech of the oem headlight bezels (at least that pass higher power lumens without oddities). But the front clip is your overall limiting factor. You'd essentially need to change at least everything in front of the windshield with most such mods as I've come to understand it. They do make some pretty cool pre-runner front clips of fiberglass that look wild & can even reduce curb weight if built thin enough.
It maybe easier and cheaper just to trade up for a newer truck.
Perhaps for some & that was part of my point. I just try to make the most of its OEM build. Keep the truck neat & the lights clean & polished. I don't think we'll see many street-driven mods like that until these things are old enough to be the next Tin Lizzies.
