First Snow
Its November and the first snowfall of the season here in the So Cal mountains. We were in hot Santa Ana winds and fire danger a few days ago. Hopefully it will stay cold and the Ski and Snowboard resorts can open before Thanksgiving. That will really help boost the economy here.

They are making snow here. The past few days have been too warm but the week is expected to stay cool with cold nights. The ski season run from December through April depending on the winter.
You cali guys have it good. Drive up the hill for winter and down the hill for summer. New Englanders dont have that option.

we had a quick slushy snow in South eastern Pa. 2 weeks ago, but it has been "scary' warm around here mostly.
Pennsylvania is in a drought watch too. Our ski slopes had some troubles last couple years..i.e. little natural snow. I do have a feeling we will get clobbered this year, we r overdue for a 2 footer.
