Selection dial on dash
Hello, I recently purchased a 2002 F350 SD 7.3PSD (great condition..love the truck). On the dash board is a selector dial to change where air flow goes (defrost, vent, floor etc
and is stuck on defrost. It doesn't matter which selection I choose, it always blows out the defrost. Is the switch bad or resistor...? Help.

Jim probably is right, but check the vacuume pump. On the passenger side, next to the battery there is a vacuume canister and a vacuume pump mounted to the fender. Unplug the vacuume line that feeds the canister, then cycle the key and listen for the vacuume pump to kick on. It could be that your vacuume pump is bad.
