tired of this!!!

ok....long story short, put new stage II's in truck in july, had chip reburned by tony wildman....developed a miss with about 1500 miles on new injectors....since then i have replaced a burnt valve cover gasket, inside and outside injector harness no luck, i have taken all the injectors back out and sent them back while they were still under warranty....got them back today and still have the same bleepin miss.....i did notice my icp is broken but i must have done this myself because now i have a cel....and never did before....the truck seems to do fine until you hit a hill in Overdrive and lug it some.....then it falls on it's face if i mash it down it will clear up and go on.....from a dead stop if i stand on it it seems to fall on it's face too...i have a new fuel filter and have cleaned the fpr screen. what do you think about a cps? any thoughts?

It's a cheap thing to try, the cps that is. I'm gonna tell ya I had similiar symptoms with mine but alot less power and alot of smoke. It was my IDM. Do you know anyone with a truck you could swap one out to give to try? Just my two cents. Good luck

Reread your post. Are you running stock hpop? That could also contribute to your cel when you hammer on it. Running out of oil on the top end.

well it's not been setting the cel until i just reinstalled the injectors and evidently i broke the icp in the process because this is the first time the cel has come on....

i'm about ready to get rid of the whole truck not just the injectors....this thing is driving me crazy....just wish i could get it fixed.

sometimes you can hammer on it and it will climb good until in gets up around 2500-3000 grand and then it seems to run out of fuel but no cel??? i had it scanned several weeks ago and it really didn't show anything.

Make sure your FPR screen is clean as well. They get clogged immediately after injector installs and will show the same simptom.
