ya them stinking plastic gears are a joke, i replaced the cable gear once and then after that took a dump figured it was the gear in the tranny. once i'm not so dependent on this truck, i'm going to tear into it and replace the damn thing...this whole guessing at my speed thing has nearly gotten me into a few sticky situations...
