My 1965 f 100 has the np 435 4 speed trans. The 3rd member is a Dana 60.2 running 3.54 gears. The driver gear is wiped out. Its green and a 6 tooth. The speedo driven gear is a 19 tooth, tan. The tires are 31/ 10.50 /15.
Numberdummy has helped figure all of this out. My last question would be based on the description above, what would be the best suggested speedo gear combo to get a close read on the speedo.

a very good site. I have tire height 30.3" 3.54 rear, np 435 trans. The site ask for the number of revolutions the speedometer takes to to go 1 mile. cant find any numbers at the bottom of the speedo face. the default on the site is 1,000 which gives me a 8 tooth. Does anyone know the revs per mile on a speedo on a 1965 f100? thanks

 

I'm in need of a 8 tooth driver. the site states that based on a speedo taking 1000 rev to go one mile. all American vehicles, I'm told, back to the early 1900s are 1000 Rs per mile. Thanks for the help.
