Bigg Boost

Has anyone ever done this BIGG BOOST mod to their truck?...i saw it on that powerstroke guy's youtube videos but when i found it on ebay it said it was only for the 99+ trucks.

Also i have a 6" lift and 36" swampers on my truck with 16.5" wheels dual 5" stacks 4" dp & K&N. I wanna go a little more conservative because ill be driving a half hour to work everyday. Its either do some mods to drive this truck or sell it for a 4 banger. Whats the best suggestion? I know 16.5 tires are going out of style but i love the truck...i wanna know what size to go but not make it look like a huge lift with tiny tires

Loose the K&N(they are not good for our trucks) and get a 6637 air filter......you can find cheap 16 wheels pretty easy and get a very mild AT kept at max psi and drive it(16.5's can still be found too).....keep your mileage up by keeping your foot out of it(stay below 2k RPM).....you did not say if you have gauges,if you do and you like to see them move you will not get MPG's out of your truck.JMHO

^^^ x2. 35'' tires or 315s are a very common size that you can find all terrains tires in.

i have 18" wheels with 325/65 tires equiv of a 35. with a 4 inch lift I would think something along those lines would look good even with a 6" lift. You'll spend anywhere from 200 to 400 a tire though depending on what you get

Here it is on Ebay. Still not really sure what it is or what it does. I'm pretty sure that it is not the turbo he is selling, even though it is pictured. I'm pretty sure what he is selling is the little black plastic deal.

thank you for the replies...im very mechanically inclined and i love the diesel. I wanted to know what i should do to really love driving this truck. nothing crazy but i wanna know chip or whats next i guess hp wise...after the wheels of course thats why i was looking at things that would not interfere with ecm maybe just a flash or something nothing with wiring involved to trick the ecm
