The valve difference...thats interesting...esp since they are essentially new heads...I wonder if the guy replaced some valves...or on an 'as needed' basis...reememeber the pricelist Rob...LOL...its comical IMO for you fellow FTE gurus...dirt cheap...in my book...for excelent heads...and asking 100 clams for EACH rocker shaft assy...dunno if those are new or rebuilds...did the guy say ??? And an inspection cover...20-25 bucks as I recall...its funny in my eyes...but Im glad you got a god deal...Im still royally jealous of ya...

Ya know come to think of it there was an awful lot of wear on those rocker shafts, more than mine so it's just as well. We waved when we went by your place today. Got another sweet deal today all seats for the 69 fastback like new for $50 and the guy wants to give me a 18 or 20 foot boat. Know anything about fiberglass? It has a small hole in the bottom where it was run aground. Told him if he came up with the title i'd take it. Comes with a trailer no motor and no interior but in good shape if i fix the hole. He had a ton of vw parts though and we're going back for more sometime. And yea we slept better not worrying about trees coming down.
