I grew up in So. Cal. and listened to him then. I got to meet him in the '70s when he did a tour of U.S. military bases in Europe. SS what made you bring him up? I hadn't thought of him in decades.

I listened to him here in the South. He always played the greatest music and knew how to put the music together were it flowed. Not like to day where they go from one extreme to another. Who wants to hear a classic song then the next minute hear someone trying to scream sing?
