Hello All. I am new to this forum and have found it very helpful so far. I have a specific question regarding leveling coils. I have a 1995 F150 xlt 4x4 302 5spd regular cab. I drive 90% on the street. The 10% offroad is nothing extreme. The front of my truck is over 2" lower that the rear and the driver's side is 1/2" lower than the passneger side. So the front is 2 1/8" lower than the rear on the passenger side and 2 5/8" lower on the driver's side. I want to lift the front and level it out as close as possible (and eventually put in 32-11.50-15 BFG AT's on 15x10 wheels). I have read through the tons of old posts on different brands of lifts and I am not sure which to get. The Skyjacker seems to have the best reputation on the forum but I am concerned because they are only rated from 1.50 to 2" and some people claimed to have only gotten 1" out of them. Plus many people say they settle over time. I need OVER 2" to level my truck so I am worried that the Skyjackers won't be enough.
Does anyone know if any of the leveling kits come with more than 1.50-2" lifts or if any of them hold their lift longer? Any other solutions other than going with the leveling coils? I do very little offroading but I want it to last. I also want to be able to align my front end. Thanks for any help.
I just got leveling coils put on my 95 F150. I went to www.roughcountry.com They did the trick. I got them for about $140. And it leveled it out very nice. It gave me about 2 inches in the front. But now I need an alignment.
Rough country isn't very good, you defiantly want skyjacker for the same money.
